Reviews of the Martian Picture Soundtrack are comin' in: Here's what Jambase has to say.
The >Willamette Week in Portland reviewed the new record in advance of the River CIty Bluegrass Festival.
TAARKA is
thrilled to announce the completion of their new album, "The Martian
Picture Soundtrack." The album features guest appearances by David
Grisman Quintet alumni Darol Anger (also of YMSB fame) and Joe Craven, as
well as by stylish Nashville fiddler Casey Driessen. The record features
8 new instrumentals from band-leaders David Tiller and Enion
Pelta-Tiller), a beautiful arrangement of an Ornette Coleman tune, and ,
for the first time vocal performances, by David Tiller and Enion
Pelta-Tiller, are included on a TAARKA album.

JOHN SULLIVAN, The builder of 3 of the
wonderful instruments David and Enion play, passed away on April 21, 2007 at
2:25 a.m. He is greatly missed. Go to the mandolin
