Spring! New Album!!!! Music for Film!

Making Tracks Home

Making Tracks Home

So much going on this month! Spring is already in the air, with deer, foxes and birds showing up in large numbers to feast outside our back door here in Lyons. We’ve got lots of new songs just budding, too, and even though, as you’ll see below, we’ve got a new album coming out, we’re ready to make the next one!

We are excited to announce the upcoming release of our latest album, “Making Tracks Home!” (pre-order it here). The album officially releases on March 24, and we’ll be doing a number of CD Release shows on our home turf and around the west.

We are thrilled that our song, “A Whole New You”, has been included in the amazing Maximum Pictures documentary film, 1971. The film was directed by Johanna Hamilton, and began its national release this past weekend. It’ll be coming to our home turf, to screen at the Boulder Film Festival, on March 8, and will air on PBS May 18. When you see what the film is about, and how well it was put together, you’ll know why we’re so proud!

We’re grateful to Blue Ridge Outdoors, who are sharing the very first track off the album in this month’s “Trail Mix” feature.  In the next few days we’ll be releasing a great video made by Woodruff Laputka, a wonderful filmmaker we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know through our friends The Railsplitters.

Please stay tuned for all the updates!
